One full day covers sunrise, the Vivekananda Rock ferry, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Glass Bridge, Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi Mandapam, Vattakottai Fort and Suchindram, ending with sunset. Add a second day for Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thirparappu Falls and Mathur Aqueduct, which sit 35–60 km out.
Yes — Kanyakumari is the only place on the Indian mainland where you can. Sunrise is best from the rocks near the Sunrise Point; sunset from the Sunset Point beach or the Thiruvalluvar Statue side of the Glass Bridge. On Chithra Pournami (April full moon) sunset and moonrise happen on the same horizon.
October to March gives the most reliable clear mornings; December and January are the busiest. June to September is monsoon on the Kerala side — fewer crowds, greener countryside, and the waterfalls are at their best, but sunrise can be cloudy.
It is about 95 km and 2½ hours by road. We meet you at arrivals with a name board; a sedan is ₹2,900 including tolls (sample fare). Kanyakumari also has its own railway station and Nagercoil Junction is 20 km away.
Local sightseeing and airport transfers are pay-on-arrival — cash, UPI or card to the driver. Multi-day tours need a 20 % advance by UPI to hold the vehicle and driver; the rest is paid on the last day. Cancellation terms are printed on every package page.
